Prepared online. Delivered on paper.
Real mail, without rearranging your day.
Some things still need to arrive in an envelope. AmericanSend is designed for the times you need to mail a physical letter, but would rather take care of it from your home, office or wherever your day takes you.
Start with a document on your computer or scan paper documents with your phone. You’ll prepare your files, review the print preview and provide the mailing details. Then you’ll see the available options and pricing before approving your order.
Your recipient will receive a paper letter at their mailing address. They won’t need an email address, an AmericanSend account or a document download.
Start with the documents you have
PDF, Word or paper.
You’re in the right place.
Upload PDF, DOC or DOCX files, or use phone scanning to turn paper documents into a PDF. Scanning is included in the sending workflow.
Word documents are prepared as PDFs for printing. You’ll be able to combine supported documents and review the final preview, including the page order, layout and content.
Use the final version of your document, remove editing comments you don’t want printed, and make sure the text and images are readable.
PDF documents
Letters and paperwork already saved as PDF files.
Word documents
Letters and documents saved in .docx format.
Older Word files
Documents saved in the earlier .doc format.
Paper documents
Scan with your phone and check the resulting PDF before mailing.
A printed copy, not the original. Scanning captures a copy of your document. If the recipient needs an original paper document or an original handwritten signature, arrange delivery of that original separately.
For everyday correspondence
Personal letters.
Business mail. Handled.
For individuals and businesses that want an easier way to prepare physical mail.
Personal letters
Letters to people, organizations and service providers when paper correspondence is preferred or requested. Prepare your message, then arrange the mailing online.
Business mail
Invoices, customer letters and supplier correspondence that need to reach a mailing address. Take care of occasional mail without keeping a printer and envelopes ready.
Forms and paperwork
Completed forms and supporting documents where printed copies are accepted. Check the recipient’s requirements for signatures, attachments and reference numbers.
One recipient or a whole list.
The guest sending workflow includes single letters and bulk mail. Import recipients from a CSV or XLSX spreadsheet, review the list and send the same approved documents to each recipient. Bulk sending doesn’t require an account; personalized mail merge is outside this first offering.
A few useful answers
Mailing,
made simpler.
The convenience of preparing online, with a physical letter at the other end.
Can I send a letter right now?
Not yet. AmericanSend is preparing for its US launch. Online sending and checkout will open once the service is ready.
Is this email or physical mail?
Physical mail. You’ll provide your documents online, and AmericanSend will arrange for them to be printed, placed in envelopes and mailed. Your recipient receives paper copies.
Will I need a printer or an envelope?
No. Printing, envelopes and mailing are part of the service. You’ll need your documents and the recipient’s mailing details.
Can I scan paper documents with my phone?
Yes. The sending workflow includes phone scanning to create a PDF from paper documents. Check that every page is readable and in the correct order in the preview. The mailed document will be a printed copy of your scan.
Will I need to create an account?
No. Guest sending is intended for both single letters and bulk mail. Customer accounts, team features and document history are planned for a later offering and aren’t included in this first service.
Can I send the same documents to several people?
Yes. The guest bulk workflow uses a CSV or XLSX recipient list. You’ll review the recipient details and send the same approved documents to each selected recipient. This is bulk mailing, not personalized mail merge.
How much will it cost?
US pricing will be available when online sending opens. You’ll review the available mailing options and full price before making a payment.
Where will I be able to send letters?
The US service is intended for mailing to US addresses. Available destinations and any restrictions will be shown in the sending application before payment.
What mailing options and delivery times are available?
Mailing options and estimated delivery times will be confirmed for the US launch. We aren’t advertising particular postal products or delivery guarantees before those details are established.
Will I see a print preview before paying?
Yes. You’ll review the prepared documents before payment. Check the content, layout, page breaks and page order, then check each recipient’s name, street address and ZIP code.
What should I check before uploading?
Use the final PDF, DOC or DOCX file. Make sure the text and images are clear, all required pages and references are included, and editing comments have been removed. For scanned documents, check that no text is cut off.
Will you mail my original document?
No. AmericanSend arranges printing from digital files, including scanned PDFs. If an original paper document or original handwritten signature is required, you’ll need to mail that original separately.
Who operates AmericanSend?
AmericanSend is operated by Platform Foundry LLC.
